What's New — October 2026
Scouting trips with the travel between games worked out and a PDF to carry, importing a lineup from a photo of the team sheet, one place to edit a lineup, sortable list headers, trips on the calendar, and report templates and fields working again.

Improvements
- The report dock leaves once you're done — On a fixture page, the report dock now shows only while you have a draft on the match or an open schedule for it. Finish all closes your open schedules there, whatever their report type, so the dock goes and stays gone when you come back; start another report and it returns with that draft. On the lineup, rows you've reported on keep their bar and report mark but lose the background tint. (ATH-927)
- Match and team search stays up to date — Matches updated from our data providers weren't being refreshed in search, and deleted matches and teams could linger in results. Every change to a match or team now reaches search, and removed ones are taken out. (ATH-926)
- Password reset emails are limited to three per account per hour. (ATH-922)

Improvements
- The lineup photo import reads full match sheets — Sheets that list both squads, like FIFA match sheets, were timing out with "We couldn't read this team sheet". They now get the time they need, and when a read does fail the message says why instead of always telling you to retake the photo. (ATH-902)
- Better guesses from the lineup photo import — The import could pre-select a player from another club because of a matching shirt number or surname. Only evidence from this squad and this line now ranks a guess, and anything weaker is left for you to decide. When duplicate lines stop you saving, the reason is shown next to Save, and the formation can be cleared if you don't know it yet. (ATH-903)
Bug Fixes
- Report templates save again — Creating a template was silently failing to save its fields. New templates are saved in one step, fields included.
- Shared report fields are back — Overall Rating, Potential and the other shared fields, plus fields a club owns outside a template, had gone missing from the Reports field filter. They're back for every club that uses them.
- Report fields stay within their club — A template or report can only use fields from its own club, shared defaults and global templates.
- Finish all completes your schedules — Finishing all schedules on a fixture was quietly doing nothing. It works again, and deleting or updating a schedule that's already gone now tells you so instead of reporting success. (ATH-899)
- Removing a bookmark from the fixture carousel works. (ATH-899)
- No more dead pages on iPhone after an update — When we shipped a new version, iOS could land on a page that wouldn't load. It now reloads into the new version the way other browsers already did. (ATH-899)

Improvements
- A new trip opens ready to plan — Creating a trip now takes you straight into the builder to pick games, instead of an empty preview where you had to click Edit first.

New Features
- Trips on the calendar, and a manager's view of every scout — A trip now shows on the calendar as a pill on each of its days in month view and as a band across the top in week view, so a scout's week reads in the frame it belongs to. A workspace manager can switch the whole calendar between "Only me" and "All scouts". (ATH-895)
Improvements
- Sharper profile pictures and logos — Avatars are now saved at a much higher resolution, so they stay crisp at the size they're shown, and organization and workspace logos keep a transparent background. (ATH-896)
- Request access from the sign-in page — The sign-in page now links to the page for requesting access.
Bug Fixes
- Signing in works again — A fresh sign-in could fail after several retries. It completes again.
- The lineup photo import can open your iPhone photo library, not just the camera. (ATH-896)

New Features
- Import a lineup from a photo of the team sheet — Photograph a printed team sheet or screenshot a lineup, and the lineup is read off it: starters, bench, shirt numbers and the formation. Players are matched against the squad, and anything uncertain is put in front of you to confirm rather than guessed at silently — each unsure line arrives with its best guess already picked and the reason why, and you keep it, replace it or skip it. Lineups drawn on a pitch rather than listed are read by where the markers sit, so a player is placed where they actually played instead of by the order they appear. Confirmed players can be sent straight into a report. (ATH-848, ATH-874, ATH-882)
Bug Fixes
- A bench goalkeeper takes the goalkeeper slot, and notes from an AI search are kept with it.
2026-10-03
Bug Fixes
- One placeholder image everywhere — A player with no photo showed one silhouette in the list and a different one on the profile, so the same player could look like two. Players and teams now fall back to the same image wherever they appear. (ATH-894)

New Features
- Sort from the column headers — Every column a list can order by now sorts from its own header, and each one is also an option in the Sort panel, so the two can't disagree. Tasks sort by title and people, Reports by player, age, match and creator, Schedules by type, assignee and archived date, Players by name, age and height, and Trips by games and creator. People sort by first and last name, so someone missing half a name no longer falls to the bottom. (ATH-892)

New Features
- Scouting trips — Plan a scouting trip as a named, dated set of matches, shared with your workspace. Filter the fixtures in your date window by country and league, pick the games you want, and see the travel between each pair: the distance, the gap between kickoffs, and whether it's actually possible. A leg that can't be made is stated plainly; one that can is never sold as a guarantee, because the figure is straight-line distance rather than a real route. Fixtures whose ground has no coordinates are still listed and still addable, grouped on their own, rather than quietly dropped. Each game carries its own tickets and the trip carries its files, and you can export the whole trip as a PDF — games by day, each leg, the venue and who covers what — so the itinerary survives a ground with no signal. (ATH-348)
- One place to edit a lineup — Edit lineup now holds the formation, each starter's slot in it, squad players for the slots nobody holds, and the photo import that can fill all of it at once. The separate formation dialog is gone. Changing the formation carries everyone across: a player you haven't moved yourself returns to their saved slot whenever the new formation has one. (ATH-889)
