What is Athleads?
Athleads is a football scouting platform that brings your scouting into one place: the data providers you already subscribe to, your whole scouting workflow (schedules, reports, notes and tasks), and AI that works only on your own data and integrations to give you the insights you need to decide.
Who is Athleads for?
Scouting and recruitment departments at professional clubs and academies, scouting agencies, and independent scouts. FC Union Berlin's youth academy wrote over 1,000 reports and tracked more than 200 players on Athleads in its first year.
How much does Athleads cost?
You pay a fixed price only for the people who run your scouting, like the head of scouting, their assistant or whoever plans the schedule. Everyone who creates content, from scouts writing reports to youth coaches, joins free, because the more they write, the more your club knows. Does Athleads replace Wyscout or StatsBomb?
No. Athleads does not host match video or collect event data, so most clubs keep Wyscout for video. Athleads is where the scouting work lives: reports, player profiles, shortlists, boards and the calendar. It includes official Sportmonks data on players and fixtures, and connects the data providers your club already licenses, such as StatsBomb, Impect and Noisefeed, using your own API keys.
What does the AI in Athleads do?
It works only on your own data and the providers you connect, never the open web. It reads every report written on a player and writes a summary of strengths, weaknesses and a recommended next step. It can compare two to four players, answer questions about a player, find players from a plain-language search, and read a lineup from a photo of the team sheet.
Which data providers does Athleads connect to?
Official Sportmonks data on players, teams and fixtures is included. On top of that, Athleads connects the providers your club already licenses, such as StatsBomb, Impect and Noisefeed, using your club's own licence and API keys. If you work with another provider, we build the connection on request.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Athleads has native iOS and Android apps, so scouts can write reports at the ground and check the shared scouting calendar on the go.
Can I use Athleads with ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Add Athleads as a connector in ChatGPT or Claude and ask questions about your own players, fixtures, reports, boards and tasks. It is read-only, sees only what your account can see, and stays off until an administrator in your organization turns it on.
How do we get started?
Request access for your club. We onboard every club personally and migrate your existing scouting data, including reports kept in spreadsheets, so your department starts with its history in place.
Can we buy or sell scouting reports?
Yes. Through the Athleads marketplace, clubs can order reports, player evaluations and shortlists from verified scouting agencies, and agencies and independent scouts can sell their work to clubs.
